Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MXD. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. Content you post

MXD lets you post journal entries, photos, voice notes, pod discussions, and marketplace listings ("Your Content"). You own Your Content. By posting it, you give The Mixed Space a license to store, display, and distribute it as needed to operate MXD — for example, showing a Community-visibility journal entry to other users, or a marketplace listing to potential buyers. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it's already been shared as part of using the app (e.g. a pod thread reply someone else has already seen).

You're responsible for what you post. Don't post anything that is illegal, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, or that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Community conduct

MXD is built around identity and belonging. We expect members to treat each other with respect. We may remove content or suspend accounts that involve harassment, hate speech, impersonation, spam, or attempts to scam other members — including through the marketplace.

5. Marketplace

MXD's marketplace lets members list items for sale or trade directly with each other. The Mixed Space is not a party to these transactions — we don't inspect items, verify sellers, or guarantee the accuracy of any listing. Arrange payment and pickup/delivery directly with the other person, and use good judgment (meet in public, verify condition before paying). MXD does not currently process payments on your behalf. We may introduce a commission on marketplace transactions in the future; if we do, it will be disclosed before it applies to you.

6. Intellectual property

The MXD name, branding, and app design belong to The Mixed Space. Your Content remains yours, as described above.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

MXD is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it meets your specific needs. Content shared by other users (including marketplace listings and community posts) reflects their views and claims, not ours.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Mixed Space isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MXD, including disputes between members over marketplace transactions.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new date. Continuing to use MXD after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
